As I reflect on 2020: the year of awakening & all that it has and is still teaching us, I am thankful for another year of life. We must have uncomfortable conversations. We must lift up voices that have been silenced, stories that have been ignored far too long. We are not beyond redemption. I want to believe that the best parts within us will triumph. I want a life that is meaningful for my children so that they can look at our generation with pride.
