Peter A. Herrndorf, CC OOnt was born on October 27, 1940, until his passing on February 18, 2023, at age 82 years. He was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He graduated with a BA in political theory and English from the College of Manitoba in 1962 and a regulation degree from Dalhousie College in 1965. In 1970, he got a MBA from Harvard Business college.

Peter Herrndorf joined the Canadian Telecom Company (CBC) as a television journalist/proofreader in Winnipeg starting in 1965 a day subsequent to moving on from Dalhousie. Sometime thereafter, he moved to CBC Edmonton as an ongoing issues maker. In 1967, he moved to Toronto as a maker of the organization’s ongoing undertakings series How It Is.

In 1998, he was granted the John Drainie Grant.

In 2007, Peter Herrndorf was granted the Request for Ontario for having “altered Canadian telecom, distributing and the performing expressions at associations like the CBC, Toronto Life Magazine, television Ontario, and the Public Expressions Community”.
