16-year-old arrested for theft of services charge in slaying of NYC cabbie Kutin Gyimah


A 16-year-old young lady has been captured regarding last month’s killing of a New York City cab driver in Sovereigns, police said.

The unidentified high schooler was accused of burglary of administrations and is the most recent piece of the riddle in a wrongdoing that dazed the city. The NYPD declared the Aug. 25 capture on Friday night.


Kutin Gyimah, 52, a wedded dad of four small children, was lethally harmed Aug. 13 when he pursued down travelers who attempted to ransack him, police said.

Gyimah was dropping off the five individuals around 6:30 a.m. at Ocean side 54th Road and Arverne Avenue in the Rockaways when the silly savagery unfurled.

He pursued the gathering to defy them when something like one of the travelers took a swing at the cabbie, sending him traveling to the road, where he broke his head close to Arverne Jungle gym, police said.

The eventual cheats then took off toward Ocean side Channel Driver, security film got by The Post from a close by bodega, Store from the Block, showed.

Two men and a high school young lady transformed themselves into police video arose of the dangerous assault, police said.

Austin Amos and Nickolas Doorman, both 20, gave up to cops at the 101st Region in Sovereigns days after the high-profile episode for supposedly avoiding a taxi passage and lethally beating Gyimah.
