Andhra Pradesh: Two killed in fire in firecracker shop

Vijayawada, Oct 23 (IANS) Two people were singed to death in a fire that broke out in a firework shop in Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday.

The episode happened around 7 a.m. at the point when brokers were setting up firework shops at Gymkhana Grounds in Gandhi Nagar region in the city.

Three out of 19 shops were totally destroyed in the fire, which set off enormous blasts sending alarm among individuals nearby. Another shop was to some degree consumed.

As per police, four fire motors promptly hurried to the spot and smothered the fire.

MLA Malladi Vishnu and Vijawada Police Chief Kanti Rana Goodbye visited the spot.

Both the casualties were working in the shop. They were distinguished as Kashi and Samba, the two inhabitants of Vijayawada.
