Dehradun, Oct 2 (IANS) Various political and social enterprises on Sunday found ‘Uttarakhand bandh’ to demand death penalty for the accused in reference to the Ankita Bhandari homicide case.
Congress, consisting of all opposition events, have additionally supported this bandh.
Ankita became allegedly killed through Pulkit Arya, the son of now expelled BJP leader Vinod Arya.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Dehradun, Dilip Singh Kunwar has appealed to the residents of the metropolis to keep peace inside the areas.
Uttarakhand Congress Vice-President, Mathura Dutt Joshi and Uttarakhand Congress General secretary, Vijay Saraswat have issued a joint announcement saying that the celebration is continuously attractive the Central and kingdom governments at hand over the research of the Ankita homicide case to the Central Bureau of Investigation however the government has no longer paid any heed to their demand.
The heinous Ankita murder case, which happened in Pauri district of Uttarakhand, drew sharp reaction from people.

SSP Kunwar said that strict action can be taken against any character who indulges in violent sports during the bandh.
