Shillong, Sep 25 (IANS) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) boss Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said all individuals living in India are Hindus regarding character.
Expounding the RSS’ reasoning, Bhagwat said that Hinduism isn’t a religion yet a lifestyle.
Tending to a social occasion in Shillong, the RSS boss said all are Hindus as all Indians are the occupants of Hindustan, which, he expressed is in the south of the Himalayas, north of Indian Sea, on the bank of the Indus stream.
“The habitants of this area are generally called Hindus. This is likewise called Bharat,” said Bhagwat, who showed up here on Saturday on a two-day visit.
