Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, an honor winning Nigerian creator, denied President Muhammadu Buhari’s public honor.
As per reports, the author declined the distinction in private since she didn’t need pointless reputation.
The author’s correspondence administrator, Omawunmi Ogbe, checked the news to the Watchman.
Ogbe said: “Following the new conferment of public honors by the President, there have been clashing reports around one of the declared beneficiaries, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. A few virtual entertainment clients say the honor winning essayist dismissed the honor, while others say she acknowledged it.
“The creator didn’t acknowledge the honor and, thusly, didn’t go to the function. She, be that as it may, didn’t have any desire to make unnecessary exposure around it, so her renunciation was conveyed secretly.”
