Chrissy Metz Feels There’s ‘a Lot Of Potential’ For A ‘This Is Us’ Spin-Off In The Future

While This Is Us is arriving at a resolution, star Chrissy Metz says that doesn’t mean there aren’t in no manner, shape or structure more stories to tell.

The Emmy-relegated performer walked privileged pathway at an extraordinary screening of the show’s series finale at the Foundation Gallery of Films in Los Angeles on Sunday, and she talked with ET’s Denny Directo about the show’s choice and “potential” future.

“I figure people will be uncommonly cheerful [with the finale] and I wanted to stun, ‘this is such an indication of the growing impacts that we have on people.’ Whether we’re at this point alive, whether we’re a piece of their friends and family… there are so many ways that we can impact others’ lives,” Metz, 41, reflected. “Whether or not we know it.”

While Metz said the series finale is really “beautiful” she got a handle on, “I would rather not say there’s a bow on it, since life, it progresses forward, you know?”

To this point, Metz watched out for some fan thoughts that there could be much more stories to tell in the universe made by This Is Us, and inside the Pearson family – – and she said she’d be down to be a piece of those records.

“Who doesn’t revere a side project? Moreover, I trust that there’s a lot of potential for every single piece of it,” Metz said. “So who can say without a doubt? In maybe a short time, somebody misses somebody and somebody creates something.

Nevertheless, without a doubt, [there’s] a lot of potential, I feel.”

“Tune in, everybody’s like, ‘Where’s the side venture? Where’s the film? Is there a melodic? What’s happening?'” Metz added. “I’m like, ‘The whole of the previously mentioned!’ I have no clue, we’ll see.”
