Christi Paul, co-host of CNN’s New Day Weekend show, reported her retirement from the organization on Sunday, June 26th, after the consolidation of its parent organization Warner Media with Discovery. Paul has worked for CNN and its sister station, HLN, for north of twenty years.
While live once and for all with CNN, Paul declared that she will be getting back to Ohio and working for a neighborhood station there. The anchor is from Bellevue, Ohio, which makes sense of her choice for bring there back.
As per sources, Paul’s support in the program on Sunday’s version will be her last. In the mean time, Variety reports that different anchors will alternate mooring the program with Boris Sanchez.
