Christopher Darnell Jones was the main individual known to be engaged with the deadly taking shots at the College of Virginia late on Sunday night.
The 5-foot-9-inch, 195-pound man, is from Petersburg. At Petersburg Secondary School, he played linebacker and running back.
Jones did well in school in secondary school. As a first year recruit, he was named good notice all-gathering, and as a sophomore and junior, he was named to the subsequent group.
The police boss says that the suspect, Christopher Darnell Jones Jr., is being held.
