Funke Akindele, the Delegate Governorship Competitor of the PDP in Lagos State, has guaranteed that God called her to run as Jandor’s appointee lead representative for the impending 2023 Lagos state races.
As per Funke Akindele, a mum of twin young men and well known movie producer, God called her and the PDP Governorship Competitor, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor) to change the narrative of the state whenever chose in 2023.
Kemi Filani reports that Funke Akindele offered this comment at the Sunday Love Administration of the Ayo Ni O Cherubim and Seraphim Development Church, Surulere Region, Badagry Circuit Base camp.
As per her, God has been with her right from birth and He is keen on her goals to make Lagos state work for all portions and divisions of the state.
“God has been with me from outset till I went to class and work now. He picked me to be the delegate governorship applicant of the PDP, in spite of the group that attempted to be picked.
“I give God all the brilliance for what he has done. God has forever been doing awesome for me.
“We were called by God, on the off chance that not we would have pulled out. Individuals have endured yet God has called us and put us forward to come and change the account of Lagos state for to better. The outcome of Lagos state is our own,” she said.
Akindele expressed gratitude toward the congregation chiefs for their requests and backing.
In the mean time, a tribal leader of the People groups Progressive faction (PDP), Bode George, hosts said that the gathering’s governorship competitor in Lagos state, Olajide Adediran, penetrated a settlement on running-mate determination.
Talking on News Focal, George made sense of that Adediran, who is otherwise called Jandor, ridiculed the consent to make Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour his running mate rather than Funke Akindele.
He guaranteed Adediran’s choice to pick Akindele, a Nollywood entertainer, constrained Rhodes-Vivour to join the Work Party as its leading figure for the Lagos governorship political race.

“After their show here in my office, we saw that these were the best two we have (Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and Adediran), and we asked him (Adediran) distinctly here, would you work with this man as your delegate, and he said, ‘OK sir,” he said.
“Haven’t followed through on for the cost of the structure, for us to have a consistent essential, would you take him to be your running, mate, he addressed ‘yes sir”
“From that point forward, he came to me to say his tutor, Denrele Ogunsayan requested that he pick a delegate from Ikorodu, a lady. I explained to him for what reason didn’t tell me at that point.
