Mr Dunn, 19, died in an accident with a vehicle close to RAF Croughton, Northamptonshire, on 27 August 2019.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said the postponement was to permit “continuous” conversations with the legitimate group of US public Mrs Sacoolas.
Radd Seiger, representative for Mr Dunn’s family, said they were holding back to hear “further turns of events” from the CPS.
Mrs Sacoolas, 44, had been driving close to the US airbase and had political invulnerability stated for her sake by the US government following the impact.

She had the option to leave the UK a while later.
In December 2019, the CPS approved Northamptonshire Police to accuse Mrs Sacoolas of causing demise by hazardous driving.
A removal demand for her to be brought to the UK was dismissed by the US government.
A representative for the CPS said: “This is to empower continuous conversations between the CPS and Anne Sacoolas’ lawful delegates to proceed.”
Last month, Mrs Sacoolas’ attorneys denied she would go to a court appearance by means of video interface and said no such arrangement had been made.

Mr Seiger said: “We have full confidence in the Crown Prosecution Service and will hold on to hear from them with additional turns of events, ideally soon.
“Harry’s family were clearly anticipating the conference on Tuesday so they trust an arrangement will be arrived at as soon as possible.
“It is crucially significant for their psychological wellness that equity and conclusion is accomplished soon.”
