“I’ve Done Like Two Films In 10 Years”-Tonto Dikeh Announces She’s Officially Quitting Nollywood

Questionable Tonto Dikeh, a Nigerian entertainer turned lawmaker, has said that she will for all time pass on media outlets to focus on governmental issues.

The delegate lead representative contender for Rivers State for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is the all in all.

Following being interrogated concerning whether she had completely resigned from acting or expected to continue after her campaign for office, the entertainer said during a new meeting with BBC News Pidgin that she had pursued the choice to leave Nollywood.

She said: “I’ve done like two movies in 10 years, so you can’t perceive me I’m still in the business. I would continuously see the value in that it was the business that my way begun from, that my sparkle began from, it is something that I regard, yet not something has been in that frame of mind for some time now. So even after the political decision, it isn’t something I anticipate bringing back.”

Tonto adulated individual performers Funke Akindele and Banky W who are campaigning for office in the impending political race.

The famous actor said; “it’s difficult for them being where they are and putting yourself out there to impact change, since reactions thus numerous things are involved.”

In the Lagos locale of Eti-Osa, Banky W is looking for a seat in the House of Representatives.

In Lagos, Funke Akindele is representing appointee lead representative. They are both PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) individuals.

“I trust in Funke, I have confidence in Banky. These two individuals… I can hold to something and say I accept that these individuals have a dream for individuals,” Tonto added.

With the saying “anything might occur,” Tonto contrasted her odds of coming out on top with those of the scriptural David and Goliath battle.

You could recall that on June 24, 2022, Tonte Ibraye, the ADC contender for legislative leader of Rivers, revealed the scandalous screen diva as his running mate.
