In 2011, Ravi sent off a protected test in the High Court of Singapore after his client, Tan Eng Hong, was captured and charged under segment 377A of the punitive code, which condemns gay sex

In 2019, Ravi started addressing Nagaenthran K. Dharmalingam, a Malaysian resident condemned to death for carrying drugs into Singapore. On offer, Ravi contended that Nagaenthran was mentally incapacitated, a contention that was excused.

The case drew the consideration of global activists, including Richard Branson, who scrutinized the court’s choice and Singapore’s utilization of capital punishment.

Branson’s activism drove Regulation Pastor K Shanmugam to freely move Branson to a live discussion on capital punishment, which Branson declined. In Branson’s reaction, he depicted Ravi as “valiant”

In 2008, he addressed resistance government official Chee Soon Juan and his sister in a maligning claim pursued by top state leader Lee Hsien Loong and his dad, previous state head Lee Kuan Yew.

Ravi would later guard other resistance lawmakers in legitimate difficulties, including Roy Ngerng, when sued by Top state leader Lee Hsien Loong for maligning.

In 2018, Ravi was condemned to a 18-month compulsory treatment request in the wake of attacking Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss, an individual legal counselor and resistance lawmaker.
