Marcus Oliver Johnstone Mumford, an English American vocalist, lyricist, guitarist, and record maker, was born on January 31, 1987. He is the lead vocalist of the band Mumford and Children.

Since birth, he has had double citizenship with the US and the UK. James, Mumford’s more established brother, is a legal counselor. Marcus was a half year old when Mumford’s family got back to the UK.
He was brought on Chatsworth Road up in Wimbledon Pursue, southwest London, and went to Lord’s School there, where he met Ben Lovett, a future bandmate. Subsequent to finishing his most memorable year of school at the College of Edinburgh, where he chipped away at Mumford and Children’s introduction collection, Murmur No More, he left for London to focus on his music vocation.
