NIA conducts pan-India raids against PFI, 50 detained

New Delhi, Sep 27 (IANS) The Public Examination Organization (NIA) was leading strikes in more than eight states and at various areas connected to the Famous Front of India (PFI) individuals on Tuesday.

Sources said that in excess of 50 individuals have been confined and the captures will rely upon their scrutinizing.

Strikes were happening in Aurangabad, Jalana, Parbhani regions of Maharashtra; Simoga, Bidar, Ballari, Hubli, Kalburgi locale of Karnataka; Nagarbera of Assam; Bulandshahr’s Kasba Syana, Sarurpur and Lisari Entryway area of Meerut in Western Uttar Pradesh; and at a few spots in Delhi.

The attacks began early Tuesday morning and were going on.

NIA sources expressed that in a couple of states the nearby police were directing strikes at their guidance.

Hiren Nath, Extra Chief General of Police (ADGP) (Exceptional Branch), Assam said that they have confined five PFI individuals from the Nagarbera region. The DGP said that the attacks were happening in many areas of Assam.

Upwards of 11 people were held by the NIA in it’s new attack. In Western Uttar Pradesh, four people have been arrested.

“We are barbecuing them. At this point no capture reminders have been recorded against any of them. They are PFI individuals. We got new contributions after the scrutinizing of prior captured PFI individuals and are leading attacks,” the source said.

In Maharashtra the Counter Dread Crew (ATS) and the neighborhood police were leading the attacks in Aurangabad, Jalana and Parbhani locale.

“Attacks are on in Simoga, Bidar, Ballari, Hubli, and Kalburgi area of Karnataka. Five have been confined from Simoga, four from Ballari, two from Hubli, and six have been kept from Kolar locale. Bidar area president and Kalburgi media facilitator of PFI have been kept,” the source said.

In Delhi, strikes were on in Nizamuddin, Rohini, Jamia and in Shahin Bagh. Strikes were being directed after the NIA got new data during the scrutinizing of the captured PFI individuals.

Prior in the week, in excess of 106 individuals from PFI were captured by the NIA and the Authorization Directorate (ED). Post Booklets were additionally given against two of the PFI individuals on Monday.

At this point, the NIA is examining a sum of 19 PFI related cases.

The NIA has expressed that around 46 charged, who were captured and later sentenced in 2010-2011. Around 355 PFI individuals have previously been chargesheeted by the organization.
