Bhubaneswar, Oct 20 (IANS) In a stunning occurrence, a man in Odisha’s Sambalpur region killed his significant other angrily after a disagreement over a homegrown matter, and covered her body in the lawn of his home, police said on Thursday.
The episode occurred almost one and half months back at Badmal Rautapada town under Jamankira police headquarters in Sambalpur. The departed lady has been distinguished as Savitri Badi, spouse of Ranjan Badi.
The episode came to spotlight when police examined the spouse on the missing instance of his significant other.
As per police, following a trade of words between the couple, Badi killed his better half and covered her body in the patio of his home. Afterward, he let the neighbors know that Savitri was in her parental house.
Smelling something off-putting, a few townspeople educated the guardians regarding the person in question, who stopped a police protest.

“Following an objection, we had arrested Ranjan Badi. During cross examination, he admitted that he had killed Savitri and covered her in his lawn,” said Rajkishore Mishra, sub-divisional cop, Kuchinda.
The body has been recuperated in-presence of chief justice and logical group, he said, adding further due method will be continued for this situation.
