Her folks are Ruth (mother) and James Howard Rowbotham (father) a brigadier general, and money manager. She was brought up in the neighboring town of St. Davids. She moved on from Radnor High School in 1966 and in November 2008, she was drafted into the school’s Hall of Fame.
