American rapper Azealia Banks hammered English vocalist Matty Healy for giggling at the questionable remarks made on Ice Zest’s race on a digital broadcast episode. On May 30, the 32-year-old character took to her Instagram handle to share a web-based entertainment post posted by Bulletin that expressed that the 34-year-old vocalist thinks the discussion encompassing him and Zest “doesn’t really make any difference.”
“Does Matt Healy has any idea that nobody thinks The 1975 makes great music and that he’s a faltering pretender with a rubbish buzzword band name that really amounts to nothing. He’s plainly squeezed to such an extent that an individual of color who doesn’t know anything about him or his music is taking a greater number of actions and more cash than him. She proceeded to call Matty Healy somebody who is “completely distracted” and “dainty jawed and drug dependent” prior to naming him as “preposterous little white obstinate male performer.” Adulating Ice Zest, she said:
“You’re not a star, nor are you great at whatever this horrible a** mid-2000’s indie pitchfork sweetheart dream you’re attempting to sell. Ice Zest has MILES greater creativity, than you will of all time. The 1975 is on no one’s radar angel, perhaps fat emotional teens however no… we are not checkin for you boo”
The debate originates from a February 2023 digital broadcast episode of The Adam Friedland Show where Healy, close by Friedland and Nick Mullen kidded about Ice Flavor’s nationality. In spite of the fact that Healy offered no remarks, he snickered when the digital broadcast has referred to the Crunch rapper as “plump Chinese woman” and “Inuit Flavor Young lady.”
