Griggs, who was born in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, began her acting profession as a small kid when she depicted Molly in the film Annie and filled in as the host of the Nickelodeon youngsters’ program Evaluated K.
She rose to conspicuousness for her depictions of youthful grown-ups in the daytime dramas One Life to Live (1991-1992) as Stephanie Hobart — for which she was named for Best Youthful Entertainer in a Daytime Series at the fourteenth Youth in Film Grants — and A different universe (1993-1955) as Maggie Cory.
Griggs expressed on the TV program Printed version that her terminating from A different universe in 1995 was because of her fellowship with John Wayne Bobbitt, regardless of the way that the job’s makers demanded they were going in an alternate way.
