A twister broken more than one planes at a Broward County airport Tuesday night, hours before Hurricane Ian made landfall masses of miles away in southwest Florida.
According to the Miami Herald, the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport reported that the tornado exceeded over North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines Tuesday night.
Broward Mayor Michael Udine instructed the opening that 30 planes and the principle building were damaged.
Video and images confirmed large harm to the unmarried-engine plane, with a few lacking wings and others flipped the wrong way up. According to the Sun-Sentinel and Broward County, the airport is closed till similarly notice.
The National Weather Service issued as a minimum eight twister warnings in Broward and Collier counties, due to Ian’s outer rain bands, and at least tornadoes were confirmed.
According to the Sun-Sentinel, the tornadoes followed “comparable paths” over the groups of Weston, Sunrise, Davie, Cooper City, Hollywood and Pembroke Pines.
West of Delray Beach in Kings Point, a twister left two hospitalized and about 35 humans displaced, Capt. Tom Reyes, a spokesperson for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, informed the outlet.
