The trailer of Netflix’s mini series ‘The English Game’, written by Downtown Abbey’s creator Julian Fellowes, has been aired. The series explain the origins of football and how those who reveal this sport overcome their class separation and make football the most popular sport in the World.
The producer of the series is also Julian Fellowes. The cast of series includes Edward Holcroft, Kevin Guthrie, Charlotte Hope, Craig Parkinson, James Harkness, Niamh Walsh, Gerard Kearns, Joncie Elmore, Sam Keeley, Daniel Ings, Kate Dickie, Henry Lloyd Hughes, Kate Phillips, Ben Batt, Sylvestra Le Touzel, Harry Michell and Anythony Andrews.
Directed by Birgette Stærmose and Tim Fywell, the mini-series will air on March 20 on Netflix.
