DC Universe’s Harley Quinn is set to make its TV debut on Syfy next month, with the adult cartoon airing several episodes every Sunday in May.

The first season of DC Universe’s animated series Harley Quinn is coming to Syfy next month. The critically acclaimed adult cartoon (currently in its second season on the streaming service) follows the adventures of a newly single Harley Quinn in Gotham City. With a talented voice cast and insightful writing, season one of Harley Quinn has been praised as one of the strongest explorations of DC’s popular antiheroine.

The cable television channel Syfy has released a trailer for the complete first season of Harley Quinn. Syfy is set to air several episodes of Harley Quinn every Sunday in May, marking DC Universe’s half-hour comedy series’ TV debut. The first four episodes of season one will air on May 3 (11 p.m. – 1 a.m. ET/PT) and the final three on May 24 (12 a.m. – 1:30 a.m. ET/PT). Check out Syfy’s trailer below:

The first season of Harley Quinn premiered on the DC Universe streaming service in 2019 and the second season earlier this month (with new episodes airing on Fridays). As the above trailer indicates, the series is a much darker take on Batman’s world of heroes and villains than one might expect from a cartoon. Harley Quinn’s Gotham features everyone from King Shark, Poison Ivy, and Doctor Psycho to the Joker himself. However, it’s Kaley Cuoco’s quirky turn as the titular character that balances the show’s silly/serious tone. In addition to Cuoco, the voice cast includes Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, J.B. Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale, and Christopher Meloni.
