South Carolina man gets 45 years for killing girlfriend, dumping body in a ditch

A South Carolina man who killed a lady he was dating and left her body in a trench in 2017 confessed was condemned for the current week to 45 years in jail.

Raymond Nolan, 30, killed Shelby Head, 40, in November 2017 yet her body wasn’t found until February 2018 in a Marlboro County seepage ditch, police said, as per WPDE-TV in South Carolina.

Head had initially been accounted for missing by her alienated spouse and must be recognized through dental records.

Her reason for death was governed as cut injuries and obtuse power injury to her head, as indicated by WPDE.

Nolan and Head met on the web and he had a background marked by abusive behavior at home, police said, as indicated by WBTW-TV in the state. He was captured for abusive behavior at home in September 2017, presently before she disappeared.

He will carry out a 10-year punishment for contamination of a body simultaneously with the 45-year murder allegation, the station detailed.
