It’s a triumph for Issa Rae! On Monday, HBO Max announced that the Shaky creator’s resulting series, Rap Sh!t, has legitimately been re-energized momentarily season. The news dropped under around fourteen days after its Sept. 1 finale appeared.
“We’re so happy to play in the domain of Rap Sh!t for another season with this verifiably competent gathering,” Rae said in a declaration.
Sarah Aubrey, Head of Unique Substance at HBO Max agreed, adding, “We are so anxious to continue with this outing with Shawna and Mia and the irrefutably fun universe of RAP SH!T. With the splendidly comedic and remarkable perspectives of Aida Osman, KaMillion, Issa Rae, Syreeta Singleton and the gathering at HOORAE, season two makes sure to bring altogether truly drawing and plotting.”
The show’s green bean season follows two distanced optional school sidekicks from Miami, Shawna (Osman) and Mia (KaMillion), who rejoin to approach a rap pack. As for the City Young ladies, Rae considered them the “best female rap group since like Salt-N-Pepa.”
“With everything taken into account, they’re astonishing, we really expected to get their endorsement,” she added. “Their cycle certainly so reflects Shawna and Mia’s.”
