The police in Anambra State have captured a 30-year-elderly person who was purportedly found assaulting a 75-year-elderly person in Nkwelle Awkuzu, in Oyi Neighborhood legislature of Anambra State, in the casualty’s farmland.
Affirming the episode, the representative of the state police order, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the lady had cautioned bystanders, by raising an alert, prompting the mobbing of the suspect, who was subsequently protected by police agents from lynching.
“Anambra State Agents working together with Security specialists at around 4 pm on 24/6/2022 safeguarded from crowd activity one Sunday Nwadiagba ‘M’ matured 30years for supposedly assaulting a 75yrs elderly person living in Nkwelle Awkuzu.

He cited the state Magistrate of Police, CP Echeng as denouncing the choice of a crowd to go after the suspect.
